  • A Multifaceted Creative Force

    Simon Dancaster—writer, poet, performer, artist, music video producer, actor, and vocalist. Simon is a creative powerhouse whose work spans multiple artistic disciplines and collaborations with some of the most influential names in music and performance art.

    Music & Lyrics

    Simon has crafted powerful lyrics for metal legend Abbath and iconic artists such as Mike Patton, Farmers Market/Stian Carstensen, and Immortal. As a vocalist, he leads two dynamic bands:

    • Bastard Son of Buddha: The Only Way To Fuck Is Up is available on all major streaming platforms.

    • The Revosolution: Their album Lesson Is More is also widely accessible.

    His music video work includes the acclaimed Tombstoned, recently featured in Ballade magazine, as well as videos for Abbath and the award-winning Hippocampus Serenade by Stian Carstensen.

    Acting & Voice Work

    Simon has starred in the feature-length film Entombed and lent his voice to projects by contemporary composer Balint Laczko and the Australian band Drugoth, creating unique voice characters and narrations.

    Spoken Word & Literature

    As the founder of the spoken word movement Skrik, Simon is known for his captivating "spoken weird" performances on stages worldwide. He is also an accomplished writer currently editing his novel The Irma Vep Chronicles and has completed the first of four tales in his Tales of the Dread Reaver series, which he narrates himself.

    Simon is a former teacher, lifelong martial artist, suspension enthusiast, artist of WART, and co-host of the Outstriders Podcast.
